From Timeless Work to Wonder
The 2017 World Tri-Fitness Challenge contest may be over but, the work continues. Walking away healthy (with NO injuries) has been a blessing and now, I begin to rebuild strength and work on cardiovascular conditioning.
This year, the theme of my fitness routine was centered around the character of Wonder Woman. It was a powerful and intense routine.... this is it:

I was really happy with my results:
Obstacle Course (under a minute) 59 seconds
True Grit course (under 2 min) 1.47 seconds
Shuttle Run 39 seconds
Box Jumps 48 seconds (even though I did not train box jumps at all due to Archilles injury)
And, I am proud to say that I was inducted to the Tri-Fitness Hall of Fame. This is my 10th consecutive year of competition. At 50 years old, I feel empowered! I feel accomplished! I pushed myself beyond my physical limits!
As Joe Montana said once, "When the game is over I just want to look at myself in the mirror WIN or LOSE, and know that I gave it everything I had."
Success comes from the peace of mind knowing you had performed your best as an athlete. When you look in the mirror, WHAT do you see?
